I Don’t Even Like Popcorn
I LOVE POPCORN! This is why incorporating gourmet popcorn to our product line was a no brainer. Think about it, who doesn’t like it? Honestly, my husband doesn’t. It was hard in the beginning trying out new recipes and my husband not having any interest in it. No worries, because that is what my friends and family were for. I made popcorn as birthday gifts, gave away to neighbors, and even made popcorn treats for my daughter’s teacher. I mean really, who doesn’t like it, besides my husband?
My Free Time
I get asked a lot, whether I indulge in popcorn in my free time. To be honest, I just can’t get enough of it. I absolutely love old fashioned popcorn. Just butter and salt for me. My favorite is movie theater popcorn. As we are going through the COVID-19 epidemic, I’m trying to focus on more fun activities with the family during the quarantine. We have movie night every other day. My daughter and I take advantage of popping fresh popcorn and putting our favorite ingredients on top. Yesterday, we had a mixture of Butter and Cheesy Cheese.
All-Time Favorite
My all-time favorite flavor in our shop is our Banana Pudding gourmet popcorn. The inspiration to add Banana Pudding to our shop after visiting New Orleans in 2018. We visited Laura’s Candies in the French Quarter. I tasted their Banana Pudding ice cream (I wish they shipped ice cream) and fell head over heels in love. The ice cream inspired me to get in the kitchen and cook up a recipe that made me feel like I was eating banana pudding. I even added cookie pieces to help replicate the flavor.
